Imagine the above diagram as if you were looking at the mural from the top edge. If done vertically, the mural can be created so it changes from one scene to another (blue to red) as the viewer moves around it. For example, a sunrise to a sunset, or a night scene to a day scene, or the past to the present.
Therefore, the mural is actually 2 murals "folded" into one. You see one mural from one angle (45 degrees), and the other from the other angle (135 degrees). The trick is to create 2 images that are similar in color and value so that they can be appreciated together as you view it straight on (90 degrees).
If done in tile, the large wall can be outdoors in an open area easily seen from a distance and very permanent. I have yet to find a client for this, but whoever gets it first will get a masterpiece of international attention, as it will be the first in the world.
The concept alone deserves a magnificent building to showcase this!
I look forward to achieving this exciting life goal.
