These one of a kind turtles are thoughtfully composed and carefully handcut, polished and sealed from selected granite, marble, slate (or any stone) and are usually set into floors and walls. Tile can also be used and then painted with glaze and fired for a more realistic look. The individual pieces are adhered to a sturdy mesh screen and secured to a plywood board, making them ready for installation.
No two turtles are exactly alike due to the nature of the stone. Custom sizes, compositions, and subject matter are available from any stone or tile.
