On the East side of Oahu in Enchanted Lake in Kailua, there is small lake shaped like a dolphin nestled at the bottom of Mount Olomana. In the corner of that lake there is a small sanctuary called Ka’elepulu Wetland, where Hawaiian endangered birds thrive. On days when there are no clouds and the air is crisp and there is no wind, everything stands still in time, like a painting. The only movements and sounds are the many birds enjoying the beauty and serenity of Enchanted Lake’s Ka’elepulu Wetland.
