MURAL QUESTIONS

Congratulations artists! You have done very well and I am very proud of you for your hard work and excellent memory. We did an amazing thing; we learned about Math, Science, Language Arts and Visual Arts while painting this mural, showing us that learning can be FUN! Please take this home over the spring break and fill in the answers the best you can. I will grade them later and reward those who do well! Aloha, your fellow artist, Thomas Deir.

An artist controls the Value Range to create the illusion of 3 dimensions on a 2 dimensional plane.

The farther away something is, the more / less (circle one) of the Value Range is used.

The closer something is, the more / less (circle one) of the Value Range is used.

Something that is TRANSLUCENT, or TRANSPARENT means that you can __________ through it, like__________________.

OPAQUE means the ______________ of translucent or transparent, meaning you cannot ___________ through it, like _______________________.
